Diamond mangrove necklace to debut at Watch Party
In honor of The Watch Party — a fundraising event supporting the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF)’s community-based marine conservation program Coastal Watch — Congress Jewelers has designed a custom diamond mangrove necklace.
The unique pendant, made of 14-karat gold including a Raso chain, will be given away in a drawing at the Sept. 30 event. Although the event is sold out, anyone can purchase tickets for the drawing — $20 for one chance or $50 for three chances (select “Tickets” at coastalwatchparty.eventbrite.com). The necklace has a retail value of $1,300. Tickets also enter the buyer into The Watch Party’s 50/50 drawing.
The mangrove necklace design will be available at Congress Jewelers after the event and can be made with diamonds ($925) or without ($725), with 20% of the proceeds supporting SCCF and Coastal Watch.
“We love to create new pieces that are fitting for any occasion, and we’re pleased to support Coastal Watch’s mangrove restoration efforts through the drawing,” said Congress Jewelers owners Melissa and Scot Congress. “It gives us a chance to showcase our custom design while doing something special for SCCF.”
